In November, game specialists get together in KGC2006!
KGC (Korea Game Conference) 2006 will be held in Ilsan KINTEX,Korea for two days from November 9, organized by Korean Game Developers Association (KGDA) and sponsored by Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Korean Game Development Institute (KGDI).

KGC Secretariat said, `Under the theme, Toward Online 2.0, a variety of specialists and professionals from home and abroad will provide insight and inspiration on the future of the game industry. This year`s event is sure to serve as a venue for sharing new ideas and visions.`

The first year to take off as one of Big Three game conferences in the world

KGC, which emerged as the biggest Asian game conference with 3,000 or so game professionals attending last year, will be a truly world-renowned game conference with about 60 game specialists from eleven countries (the US, Japan, Germany, Sweden, France, Demark, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Australia, Korea) making speeches. In addition, overseas game development companies are showing deep interest.

Speakers include Ed Zobrist (CEO of Vivendi Games), Mark Cullinane (Vice President of Turbine Studio), Blake Lewin (Vice President of Turner Broadcasting), Lars Buttler (CEO of Trion World Network), Neil Trevett (Chairman of Khronos Group), Peter Lee (CEO of Game Lab), Daniel James (CEO of Three Rings), and James Gwertzman (CEO of PopCap Games) from North America, Hendrick H. Heimer (CEO of eWave Interactive) from Germany, David COHEN CORVAL (Director of Offroads) from France, and Lee Sandberg (AB Colorod Media) from Sweden. In addition, participants will be KENJI MATSUBARA (General Manager of Koei) from Japan, Monte Singman (CEO of Radiance Digital Entertainment) from China, Jorge Lizarraga, CEO of Oelli that organizes the biggest game shown in South America, EGS, etc.

You should not miss lectures by global game companies such as Microsoft

Microsoft that has participated in KGC since 2004 will give lectures in a total of 8 sessions under the theme of Windows Vista and XBOB 360. ATI, a graphic solution company who is KGC`s partner for two years from last year, will introduce new technologies in three sessions and give interesting lectures on NDIVIA and graphics solutions for mobile devices.

Autodesk, software company, will run a booth and PAYNOVA, a Swedish billing solution provider, will give lectures to introduce its solutions to the Korean game industry. In addition, NTREEV, a Korean game development company, and NOBAMIX, a Korean mouth pad company, will participate in the conference as partners.
