The Biggest Asian Game Conference, Opening of the KGC 2007
- Plan to be held during Nov.8-9 at KINTEX, G-Star also opening on the same day
- Inviting Korean and International game experts, expecting to suggest aspects for future online game industry.
The president of Korea Game Developers Association (KGDA), Kwang-sam Kim, has announced that the Korea Games Conference 2007(KGC 2007) will be held from Nov.8 to 9 at KINTEX, Ilsan. KGC is hosted by KGDA and sponsored by Korea Game Industry Agency (KOGIA) and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. KGC 2007 is one of the biggest conferences in Asia and KGDA has been hosting the conference for 7 years since 2001.

Last year, 64 speakers from countries including Korea, U.S, Japan, China, Germany, Sweden, France, Mexico and 3300 audiences from 15 countries such as Russia, India and Australia attended KGC and experienced it…s growth as an international-scale game conference.
In KGC 2006, various game professionals such as Ed Zobrist, Jessica Mulligan, Monte Singman, Jeffrey Anderson, Jenny Ryu and Gyuhwan Oh participated and discussed the problems of the present online market, and suggested the future directions.
Kwang-sam Kim, president of the KGDA and professor of the Chung-gang University, has been hosting the event since 2001 and said that ¨Korean game market has developed as a center of the world and lead the online game revolution. For this reason, having a game conference in Korea has been considered as an important place to discuss about the keyword of the future game market. He also added ¨We will constantly try to make this event to contribute to the development of the game industry.
껚 KGC 2007 좻 ¨Beyond Illusion〃
This year, KGC 2007-under the theme ¨Beyond Illusion〃- will point out the problems of the present online industries and propose the strategies and alternative plans for further development.
Especially, online game experts from inside and outside of the county will share their efforts they put into their games and discuss with the public what their final goal is to make the online game more realistic.
껚 KGC 2007 opens registration for the speakers.
KGDA will invite various game experts from inside and outside of the country, and offer high standard lectures. This year, registration for the speakers will be continued from Aug.28 to Sep.14 on the official website. There will be 10 different categories- Programming, Graphic, Design, Producing, Audio, Business, Operation, Mobile, Policies and Quality Assurances- and the speakers will be selected regarding the topics and contents of event.
Anyone who wants to participate may download the application on the official website (www.kgconf.com), and return it when the form is completed. The result will be out after Sep.21st. KGC 2007 is going to be held from Nov.8 to 9 on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the KINTEX, Ilsan.
